The best-selling Keysight N7745A optical power meter features eight power probe channels for higher throughput and productivity to meet today's manufacturing challenges. Designed to characterize multi-port optics, these optical power meters provide industry-leading solutions for device connectivity, high-speed measurement data acquisition, and fast data transfer for post-processing. Multi-port power meter provides fast for all multi-port devices such as multiplexers, PON splitters, wavelength selective switches (WSS) and ROADMs, as well as compact test sets for testing multiple single-port devices simultaneously Measurement solution.

The N7745A power meter saves channel space, which is the first in the industry. This feature is further refined by parallel programming of LAN or USB connections to integrate multiple devices into a single setup.

The multiport power meter was developed using LXI technology and is compliant with the LXI Class C standard. LXI is the abbreviation for LAN eXtension for Instrumentation, which establishes an instrument standard for devices that use Ethernet (LAN) as the primary communication interface. As a result, it is an easy-to-connect instrument with an integrated web browser that provides convenient instrument function configuration.

The new power meter features an unprecedented N7740 fiber connectivity concept, a four-core cable adapter with a snap-in quick-lock mechanism. The device under test can be easily connected to a four-core cable adapter even if the instrument is measuring other equipment. The four-core cable adapter can then be quickly locked to provide a high-precision connection that can be reconnected and disconnected. With a four-core cable adapter, you can more easily align connector keys, especially for rack-mounted instruments, and make it easier to connect ports in the desired order to avoid connection errors or connector damage.
